Needing a win to stay relevant in the conference race for first place, the City College women’s basketball team defeated Foothill College 63-58 on Jan. 13 at the Wellness Center in a game featuring three of the conference’s top five scorers.
What some feared would be the end of a long and successful coaching partnership between women’s badminton co-head coaches Coni Staff and Fred Glosser, has been delayed for one more year. They have both decided to come back for the upcoming 2012 women’s badminton season.

“Playing against the Rams while I was at Sierra, I always knew that this was one of the better ball clubs I will ever play,” Foster said. “I’ve never been more excited to start a season as I am now.”
