Samuelu “Kiko” Afoa, 27, a beloved City College student died peacefully in his sleep on March 2, 2012. Afoa was a dedicated student aspiring to earn a degree in criminal justice.
Jesse “Jaundice” Morris, or “Punk Rock Johnny Cash,” 27, was found dead in his home after committing suicide on his birthday, Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011. Morris was a talented musician best known for his Johnny Cash style vocals.
Deborah Kay Porter, a devoted City College management assistant and long-time Service Employees International Union member, died April 8 after an eight-month battle with lung cancer. She was 56 years old.
