It’s funny; there’s that trend now on Twitter of all the different silly little red flags that one might see in a potential partner. I’m never unaware of those red flags anymore, it’s just something I’ve begun to ignore at certain points.

Mayor Breed’s New Retail Crime Initiative

London Breed announced a police-led initiative to decrease retail crime rates in late September, partnered with retailers and regional law enforcement. The initiative has three main aspects; expanding and reallocating police budgeting and resources, restructuring of private and public deployments, and public-private funding to help report and solve cases.

Vaccine Requirements Keep Students Safe

Over 400 colleges and universities across the U.S. are requiring students to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to return to in-person learning, with a whole lot of pushback from many different students for a variety of reasons.

Mayor London Breed was fined a total of $22,792 for ethics violation on several counts of misusing her title for personal gain; including accepting money for car repairs by the former head of public works department Mohammed Nuru, buying herself two floats in the city’s 2015 Pride parade, and sending a letter to former governor Jerry Brown requesting her brother be released from prison early.
