‘The Rocker’ has Heart

Oh, Rainn Wilson, you are the average guy who had a dream of rocking out and you, my friend, turned that dream into a reality.

Rainn plays a down and out drummer who, 20 years ago, got booted out of a band that was on its way to stardom.

By playing in his nephew’s band he gets a second shot at fame and through a chance encounter with Youtube they become stars.

Yes, it is by the number, yes it will play on ABC Family. I don’t care because it was a great movie and I love watching Rainn perform his style of awkward comedy.

This is a great family film with a lot of heart. So take the whole family to the movies and rock out!

The Rocker opens everywhere on August 1.
