The task was too much for the Rams as Fresno found the back of the net again later in the second half. Despite the team giving it their all to the end, Fresno ended the game on top, ending City’s season.
Following a return to the game after a year’s layoff due to the pandemic and a four-game winning streak, the men’s Rams soccer team suffered their second loss of the young season on Sept. 27 with a 5-1 defeat to the Cabrillo Seahawks on the City College Soccer Stadium.
On Friday, Nov. 5, the Rams women’s soccer team won big in a game scoring five goals over the visiting Cañada College. The game’s final score was 5-1 and moved the 11th-ranked team in the state to 14-2-0.
The Ram’s nine-match winning streak on the volleyball court came to an end on Sept. 30 when they fell 0-3 to the defending state champion, the Cabrillo Hawks.
