Journalism Department Chair Juan Gonzales, who has built a substantial network of professionals, has been inviting guest instructors such as acclaimed journalists Joe Fitzgerald Rodriguez and A.C. Thompson to his digital classrooms.
City College’s Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) and the department of Journalism has collaborated to produce a certificate to help aid future journalism students. The certificate will, “give students a foundation to build up their own business or a career at an organization,” said Alex Mullaney.
