District 9 Supervisor David Campos proposed a resolution to restore the school’s Board of Trustees following state Senate Bill 965 being introduced Feb. 10 to recover lost federal funding due to dwindling enrollment at City College.
Hundreds gathered Nov. 19 protesting police brutality in response to the assault and arrest of City College student D’Paris Charles “DJ” Williams by undercover police officers in the Mission District.
Undeterred by morning fog and the early November chill, students, faculty and staff sipped coffee and teamed up to use their Saturday to clean Ocean campus for the second “Day On” event this year.
The Save CCSF Coalition held a press conference on the steps of the science building on Ocean campus Nov. 7 to announce the lawsuit they filed against the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges with their attorneys Dan Siegel and Neil Satterlund.
