COVID-19 Outbreak Forces Academic Institutions to Move Classes Online Across the Bay Area

City College was forced to close its doors to students due to San Francisco Mayor London Breed’s call of a state of emergency regarding the COVID-19/Coronavirus outbreak which is infecting nations on a global scale. The college suspended face-to-face classes, on-campus resources, events, and will transition certain classes to being available online. However, students and faculty have raised concerns over this new plan of action.
