Photographer Alex Farnum speaks as a part of City College’s Concert and Lecture Series. He has landed “on-going projects for national publications, international agencies, multigenerational brands, and award winning book projects.” Event held in Visual Arts Lecture Hall 114 from 6-9:30 p.m. and is to the public.

Muslim Student Association holds Juma’a Under the Sun at the Amphitheater 12-3 p.m. There will be a lecture about important points in Islam with free food provided. Everyone is welcome! Photography Department’s Gallery Obscura hosts new exhibit Transcience by student Rese Cohen until Nov. 30. The Exhibit focuses on abstract pieces taken from abandoned buildings. The gallery is open daily except Sundays and Holidays. Visit www.ccsfphoto.wordpress.com
Fri/Nov.14-30 Waterscapes Exhibit
City College’s Chinatown/North Beach Center Library presents Waterscapes, a black and white photography exhibit presented by Yiye Teng on the second floor. Teng used a “unique photographic process” to capture “beautiful and mysterious images.”
Sat, Sun, Fri, Sat/Nov.15, 16, 21, 22 Heaven Can Wait
Heaven Can Wait will be performed at City College’s Diego Rivera Theatre. Showings held on the 15th, 18th at 8 p.m. and on the 16th, 22nd at 2 p.m. Tickets for students, seniors, and TBA members cost $10 while general admission is $15.
