 The Rams were close to taking the lead throughout the game but could not overcome a late-inning offensive explosion by the Cañada College Colts.
 
 City College was the victim of a beatdown from College of San Mateo on Thursday, March 13, losing in blowout fashion.
 
 Gavilan College capitalized on City College’s miscues and defeated the Rams 11-4 on Thursday, Feb. 27. Gavilan knocked eight hits throughout the innings, notably one less than the hometown Rams had with nine.
 
 City College took the victory with a score of 4-3, raising their record to 3-3 on the season. This comes after their loss to the Eagles just three days prior with a final score of 8-5.
 City College and Laney are now tied for the season at one win a piece, and it will likely stay that way, as they are not scheduled to play each other the rest of the season.
 
 PACIFICA — After its first game and loss of the 2025 season against Contra Costa College, the Rams baseball team looks to bounce back, working hard towards a winning season.
 
 City College of San Francisco has been without a dedicated home-field diamond for its baseball team for the last few years.
 
 The Rams showed a lot of promise this season, so City College fans had high hopes of seeing their team take home a win against Ohlone. But despite the players’ best efforts and a strong start, they couldn’t secure the victory, ending the season on a loss on April 29.
 
 On April 20 the City College of San Francisco baseball team put on quite a show in its final home game of the season, earning a victory when reliever David Howard pitched out of a tough spot in the ninth inning, closing the book on the College of San Mateo Bulldogs.
 
 After 11 consecutive losses the Rams baseball team scored a thrilling 6-5 victory in a walk-off over Chabot on April 8. Three days later the team’s winning streak ended in a loss to Canada.

 Without a single win in April, the rams still continue to soldier on and are hopeful for a better run next season.
